We are a young family with an established history in Aspermont. I am a farmer here in Stonewall County, while my wife takes care of our two little ones. The economy of Stonewall County, as well as all the surrounding counties, has always depended heavily on ranching and farming. Unlike most occupations, farming plans change from day-to-day based on numerous factors. It is crucial that we have a bank that understands our needs and works to help secure our farm and family’s future.
First National Bank of Aspermont has provided Aspermont and the surrounding area with 110 years of service, and has grown to become one of the top banks in the region. Having a small, rural bank that comprehends the work of a farmer and truly cares for the well being of our future is both relieving and refreshing. FNB cares about this community and wants to continue to play a vital role in making the area thrive by helping its residents succeed through their multiple banking services. They are a bank that is actually there for you, no matter what the circumstances. I am proud to bank with First National Bank of Aspermont and trust them with all of my financial needs.
We have been fortunate enough to travel and live in many different places over the years including Washington, Germany, Alaska, and Texas. Through our travels we have had the incredible opportunity of opening and operating several businesses, including two sandwich shops in Aspermont. We moved to Aspermont for our family, but brought with us our passion for creating delicious food for all to enjoy. We knew there were many challenges to opening and running a business in a small, rural town, but were hopeful the rewards would far outweigh those challenges. The outpouring of support we have received from this community and other businesses, such as First National Bank of Aspermont, has been a true blessing. Having businesses such as FNB be so supportive and involved in our shop has been a true testament to what this community stands for. By doing business with FNB, we have had the divine opportunity to get to know the staff on a personal level. We all know each other by name and are greeted with a friendly smile every time we step through their doors; we are hopeful they feel the same when they come into our shop. We are grateful to not only do business with First National Bank of Aspermont but to call them our friends.
